I’ve come to see that the reason for all those door molding in my home is that it’s a visual display of my personality, and in my mind, it shows off the colors in my home.
It’s also a visual display of my love of my home. You might not think that, but I don’t really care about the house or the exterior. I like everything about it. My wife likes the colors too, and so does my friend. So when I paint my home, I want to make it look better than the way it is. And that means everything. Everything about it.
This is the first time I’m hearing people mention “moldings” as a problem. As a painter, this sounds as if you are painting an exterior that has not been finished, or you are painting an exterior that has a lot of dust, dirt, and other contaminants that can be causing the moldings to show. In addition, you might have moldings that are a little too high. Too high of a “picket fence” type of thing.
